Tweet Sneeze for Self Published Authors

Friday, August 21st, 2009

What is a Tweet Sneeze? It’s a RT that sends a message out like a virus.  So how about giving this literature page a tweet sneeze to help self-published authors to get a little more exposure?  Tweet Sneeze to promote the future health of literature.

Tweet Sneeze by clicking the retweet icon here or by RT the tweet that brought you here.  Thanks ever so much.  Click My Lit Erin.

Authors – Help me 2 help you

I will promote your book and i don’t ask anything in return but I will tell you how you can assist if you wish to – I’ve made this really easy for you to help both of us.

Build up your Personal Self Confidence

Build up your Personal Self Confidence

At the bottom left corner of each of my posts, you will see a box that shows how many times this post has been tweeted on twitter. (In fact the actual number of times is larger than that because it only counts the number of times it has been tweeted off that page – I tweet it more often from another page that I have.) However, if you click the ‘retweet’ bar under the count box, the installed plugin will open up your twitter account and let you tweet it again – the plugin gives you the option of tweeting it. But why not? The more tweets the better the traffic to your book.  Help me 2 help you.

At the same bottom left corner, you’ll also see a small heart and a ‘bookmark’ link beside it. If you hover your mouse over the heart or link, a list of social bookmarking sites will appear. This plugin gives you the chance to put a link back to this page from Digg, Del.isio.us Facebook, and/or StumbleUpon. Clicking one (or more) of these helps me 2 help you get your book some extra exposure. So, find the posts where I feature your book and click 4 your lit!

What I do for Authors

Wednesday, July 22nd, 2009

Here are some questions I’ve received from authors and my answers.

“Do you publish as well as review?” I neither publish NOR review. At present, I only promote. Why should my opinion on a book matter? If I only featured the books I personally liked, then I would be forcing my opinion on readers and I won’t do that.

“Why do offer your services for authors as free?” Because I don’t charge anything. What I do has no strings attached and it is free. I hype and promote your book. And I try to bring traffic to the pages where I have it featured. If a person buys, then I get a commission from Amazon as an affiliate and the author gets a royalty for the sale. We both benefit so why should I charge an author extra?

Subliminal Messages

For now I just promote but I hope to build click My Lit into a site that does what no other literature site does for authors and for readers. Click My Lit is still in its infancy.
